Biographical / Historical

The Munger Ladies' Aid Society organized February 12, 1914, to "better the conditions of the community of Munger along socieal and religious lines in ways which shall from time to time be decided upon by a vote of the society." (Constitution, page 1) First officers were Mrs. O. Hicks, president, Miss Elsa Skoog, vice president, Mrs. Charles Boehl, secretary, and Mrs. J. Martin Carlson, treasurer. Members met twice a month and paid a 10¢ fee at each regular meeting.
