Scope and Contents

The collection consists of two volumes, a business ledger and a business journal, covering the brief period of May 1908 to May 1915 that describe a portion of the Myers company’s activity. Included are: H. H. Myers’ salary, land leases, land lots and prices marked on township grid maps, and description of the company's operating expenses. This company operated on the Cuyuna Range in Crow Wing County, Minnesota.

Biographical / Historical

Henry H. Myers (1857-1931 September 13) moved to Duluth from Ohio in 1884. He was engaged in real estate and investment businesses all of his 37 years in Duluth. He was a partner in the Myers Brothers Investment Company. At the time of his death, he was survived by his wife Lucy, son Cecil B. Myers in London, two sisters in Toledo, Ohio, and a brother Benjamin F. Myers in Philadelphia.
