Biographical / Historical

The Orpheum Theatre, built in 1910, was located at 8-12 North Second Avenue East in Duluth, Minnesota. It was the resident theater house of the Orpheum Theatre Circuit. It had an orchestraa nd played host to vaudeville, touring plays, and even a resident stock company. It continued its high quality offerings into the 1930s. The theater was remodeled in the NorShore Theater in 1941.
