Eustache Roussain papers
Scope and Contents
The collection contains a letter book with 35 letters by many people including 6 of Eustache Roussain’s letters to friends, a loose letter made illegible by scribbling over it - the scribbling appears to be Eustache Roussain practicing his signature while the writing underneath is in Ojibwe, a letter from Roussain to Peter Bradshaw, a business license for Roussain to act as a retail dealer and his report as postmaster at Fond du Lac.
