Biographical / Historical

The 1928-1931 annual reports for St. Louis, Carlton, Itasca, Cook and Lake Counties were prepared under the name State and County Agency for the Blind, noting that the agency operated under the control of the State Department for the Blind, Children’s Bureau, Board of Control and the St. Louis County Board of Commissioners.

Current State Services for the Blind and Visually Impaired are a part of the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development.
