Biographical / Historical

Arthur B. White (1873?-1946 October 24) was a theater manager for the Orpheum Circuit. He was hired as the assistant manager and treasurer of the new Orpheum Theater in Duluth, opening in August 1910. He married Clara A. Staege in 1912. He left Duluth to work in Davenport Iowa for the 1912-1913 season; working as a district manager for Orpheum. After working in the New Orleans Orpheum he returned to the Duluth Orpheum for about a year in 1916, the Whites’ home at that time was in Forest Lake, Minnesota.
