Biographical / Historical

John Chandler Green was a professor of Geology at the University of Minnesota Duluth from 1958-1999. He received his Bachelor's degree from Dartmouth College and did his graduate work at Harvard, receiving a Ph.D. (1960). During the 1970s Dr. Green served on the University of Minnesota's All University Council on Environmental Quality, the All University Council on Environmental Quality's Copper-Nickel Task Force, and the Minerals Subcommittee of the Natural Resources Advisory Council.
