Scope and Contents
This collection contains oral history work from college history courses taught by Professor Mari Trine with a focus on using primary sources and oral history methods in research. Oral history interviews on cassette tapes are listed alphabetically by narrator’s (speaker’s) names. There are transcripts except for the Civil Rights, Women’s History, and African American History courses. A counter/timer index describes topics discussed and where they are on some of the tapes.

Biographical / Historical
Professor Mari Trine taught undergraduate college history courses with a focus on using primary sources and oral history methods in research. The courses include History of Civil Rights Movements: Recent America; Women in United States History I and II; African American History II. These undergraduate courses were taught at The College of St. Scholastica, a private college in Duluth.
