Biographical / Historical

The purpose of the Soroptimist Clubs, chapters of the International Club, is “to maintain high ethical standards; to strive for human rights; to develop a spirit of friendship and unity; to quicken the spirit of service; to contribute to international friendship and understanding.”

Organized in 1945, the Club disbanded in June 1991.
