Scope and Contents
This collection accommodates special issues of newspapers pertinent to local history, covering a variety of topics such as anniversary or dedicatory occasions and so forth.
Proctor Journal 50th Anniversary Edition 1906/1956. Published on June 28, 1956 this is 86 pages of advertisements and articles regarding Proctor and Midway history. The Proctor Journal was established June 23, 1906, distributed as weekly. The first editor was H.B. Mckenny followed by R.K. Welch in 1908. It continues as a weekly.
