Biographical / Historical
Duluth Musicians' Association Local 18, American Federation of Musicians was chartered on September 20th, 1913. Its justidiction includes: Jurisdiction All of the following counties in Minnesota: Lake of the Woods, Beltrami, Koochiching, Clearwater, St. Louis, Itasca, Hubbard, Cass, Wadena, Crow Wing, Aitkin, Lake Cook, Pine and Carlton. Also the southern portion of St. Louis County which includes Van Buren, Ness, Alborn, New Independence, Grand Lake, Fredenberg, Gnesen, Normanna, Alden, Duluth, Halden, Floodwood, Arrowhead, Culver, Industrial, Canosia, Rice Lake, Lakewood, Prairie Lake, Fine Lakes, Stonely Brook, Brevator, Solway, Herman and Midway. In Wisconsin, the following counties: Douglas, Bayfield, Ashland and Burnett.
