Scope and Contents

The collection contains records from the UMD School of Social Development dated between 1972 and 1982. Included are materials related to the NIMH Improving Mental Health Services to the Rural Elderly project, skill training for American Indians, community service education fod the Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa, the Indian Youth Project, the Social Welfare Administration, working papers, and other materials.

Note: Discarded duplicates, budget records, and literature not related to UMD. Inventory revised after removing materials determined not to be of archival value for legal, financial, or historical purposes after consultation with the department involved. March 23, 1999.
