The collection contains style and U.S. as well as Canadian price books describing the basic features of various Burroughs' machines.

Burroughs machines were divided into types, classes, and series according to the general type of construction. The style and price list described the basic features of each machine, and were helpful for the salesmen to keep track of the many different types of machines that Burroughs sold.

The materials in the Style and Price Books are arranged in numerical order according to the black notebook they were originally contained in.
The records were given to the Charles Babbage Institute by Unisys Corporation in 1991, accession 991-35.
