Burroughs Corporation records. Serial publications
Scope and Content Note
The collection consists of serials, magazines, and periodic pamphlets that Burroughs Corporation published in-house. Individual titles have their own entry in the University of Minnesota Libraries Catalog.
This alphabetical list contains brief descriptions of serial titles published by Burroughs Corporation, formerly Burroughs Adding Machine Company, and its subsidiaries and user groups. The first segment of each entry provides the serial title, the date holdings (range of issues) at CBI, and the physical location of the holdings within the collection. The second segment of each entry provides name of the organizational unit responsible and publication location, if known, additional title information, and a summary content analysis. The third segment of each entry provides a listing of the holdings. In the holdings list, a single span date (e.g., 1986-1996) indicates the holdings include the entire run of the publication. The publication histories are unknown for many of the serial titles and when the frequency or numbering schemes vary throughout CBI's holdings, the issues are listed individually with volume and issue numbers provided parenthetically when used. For longer running titles with established publication frequencies, holdings lists have been reduced by using span dates.
Unisys Daily Briefcontinued to be added to this collection until it ceased publication in February 1998.
