Historical Note
The Boole & Babbage Users Group (BBUG) was formally organized at the first group meeting on December 1, 1971 in San Franciso, California. It was organized and operated for the benefit of users of products offered by Boole & Babbage, Inc. Its goal was to interface between users and the company and disseminate user-generated information about the company's products. Additionally, its purpose was to cooperate with other professionals in the field of computer systems performance measurement to gather information of interest to the group.
