Historical Note
The Association for Women in Computing, Twin Cities Chapter (AWC-TC) was organized and incorporated in 1980 to serve the Minneapolis-St. Paul region. Like its parent organization, the Association for Women in Computing (AWC), AWC-TC sought to establish a local network of women in commercial, academic, and government computing in order to promote communication, further professional development and advancement, and to promote the education of women in computing.
