The collection contains photographs from meetings of the Cooperating Users of Burroughs Equipment (CUBE). Most are taken at the plenary sessions. Thomas Grier is pictured in almost all of the photographs.

Biographical Note
Thomas S. Grier was employed by the Burroughs Corporation from 1962-1985. He was the manager of the Cooperating Users of Burroughs Equipment (CUBE) from its second year through its eventual merger with the corresponding Univac group. While managing CUBE, Grier had several titles at Burroughs: Marketing Specialist, Head of Training, Head of Customer Relations, and Manager of Customer Events.
Grier was born on September 3, 1923 in Colorado Springs, CO. He graduated from Cheyenne High School in May of 1941 and that fall enrolled in engineering school at the University of Michigan. He was drafted into the Army Corps of Engineers in 1943 and from 1945-1946 was in the United States Army University in Biarritz, France. Grier graduated with a BS in aeronautical engineering from Michigan in 1947 and in 1949 received his MBA from Michigan. From 1949-1955 he was the production manager at Pure Oil Company in Chicago. He worked in various capacities for Univac from 1955-1962 before joining Burroughs. He died on May 7, 2003.
