Biographical / Historical

Author Lynn Hall was born November 9, 1937 in Lombard, IL. Hall worked at various jobs, including secretary and veterinarian assistant, from the mid-50s to the mid-60s before her first book, The Shy Ones, was written in 1967. She has written dozens of books for children, some juvenile nonfiction, and a number of young adult novels. Many of her works focus on animals, including dogs and horses. She lives in Iowa.
