Scope and Contents

This collection contains manuscript materials related to eleven publications and includes correspondence, notes, research materials, corrected typescripts, and typescripts dating between 1977 and 2000. The majority of the materials are for various Trixie Belden books, and also included is a Dungeons and Dragons novel from 1984, and a nonfiction juvenile work on Internet pioneers.

Biographical / Historical

Born in 1949, Laura French grew up in Minnesota. She spent time working as an editor for Western Publishing before working as a freelance writer. She was a ghostwriter for a number of titles for the Trixie Belden series, assisting in editing as well.
