Biographical / Historical

May Yonge McNeer was born in 1902 in Tampa Florida and studied at the University of Georgia and Columbia University. She was an author of children's books, on a variety of topics, many of which were illustrated by her husband, Lynd Ward. She died in 1994 in Virginia.
