Biographical / Historical
Megan McDonald was born February 28, 1959, in Pittsburgh, PA. She received a B.A. from Oberlin College in 1981. Prior to beginning her writing career she worked as a park ranger, bookseller, museum guide, librarian, and storyteller. She is best known for her Judy Moody series, which was also made into a feature film, whose screenplay was cowritten by McDonald. She lives in California.
