Biographical / Historical

Clara Gillow Clark was born in 1951 in Lookout, Pennsylvania. After marriage and children, she went to college in her thirties and became a writer. Her first novel, Annie's Choice, inspired by her mother being denied the chance to attend high school, was published in 1993. Her second novel, Nellie Bishop, was inspired by her great grandmother's childhood. Clark lives in Pennsylvania.
