Biographical / Historical

Willard F. Clark was born September 1910 in Massachusetts, and grew up in Argentina. A graphic artist, painter, and printer, he became best known for his woodcuts. He moved to Santa Fe, New Mexico, where he set up a print shop. Beginning in 1942, he began working for for Los Alamos National Laboratory as a machinist, until his retirement in 1979. After his retirmenet he again took up printing and woodcut engraving. Clark died in 1992 in New Mexico.
