Biographical / Historical

Susan Pearson was born December 21, 1946, in Boston, MA. She graduated from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota, in 1968 and later worked as a VISTA (Volunteers in Service to America) volunteer. Later she worked at several publishing companies. In 1975, Susan Pearson published her first book for children, Izzie, the story of Cary and her cat-doll, Izzie.
