Biographical / Historical

Irene Bowen Robinson was an artist and illustrator. She was born in 1891 and died in 1973. She was married to W. W. Robinson, who wrote many of the works she illustrated.

Donated to Dr. Irvin Kerlan beginning in the 1950s. He in turn donated them to the University of Minnesota.

The bulk of Irene Bowen Robinson's illustrations and artwork are located at the Ella Strong Denison Library, Libraries of The Claremont Colleges, Scripps College, in Claremont, California.
