Biographical / Historical
Gordon Grant was born June 7, 1875 in San Francisco California, and died May 6, 1962 in New York City. He was a newspaper and magazine artist and book illustrator. He also wrote a number of self-illustrated books. He was most noted as a painter of ships and the sea.
