Scope and Contents
The collection contains written production material, including typescripts, correspondence, and proofs, for non-fiction titles written by Paul Showers. Some of the material is for revised editions of his previously published works. The papers also contain general editorial correspondence, photographs, and some fan letters from children.

Biographical Sketch
Paul Showers was born April 12, 1910, in Sunnyside, WA, and died July 17, 1999, in Orange, MA. He was a journalist and children's book author who received several awards and honors for his work. His books for children were educational, non-fiction.
