Biographical / Historical

Janet Tashjian was born in Provindence, Rhode Island in 1956. She received an undergraduate degree in journalism from the University of Rhode Island and an M.F.A. in creative writing from Emerson College. She worked in sales and marketing for fifteen years before becoming a writer. Her book for middle grade readers, Tru Confessions, was published in 1997.
