Biographical / Historical

Barbara Brooks Wallace was born in Soochow, China. She spent her childhood in China and the Phillipines. In 1945, she earned her B.A.degree from the University of California, Los Angeles. Her first book, Claudiawas published in 1969. She died in 2018.
