Biographical / Historical
Joshua Tolford was an American illustrator and artist. He was born in 1910 in Wisconsin and studied at the Layton Art School in Milwaukee and the Boston Museum School. He was a member of the Folly Cove Designers, a group of Massachusetts-based artists founded by Virginia Lee Burton. He died in 1985.
