Biographical / Historical

Jane Wagner (born on February 2, 1935) is an American writer, director and producer. Wagner was born and raised in Morristown, Tennessee before moving to New York to pursue a career in theater. She has written plays, as well for television, in addition to books. She is best known for her collaborations with her wife, comedian and actress Lily Tomlin, including the one-woman show The Search forns of Intelligent Life in the Universe
