Biographical / Historical

Marie G. Lee was born April 25, 1964 in Hibbing MN. She graduated from Brown University in 1986 and worked for an economics research firm before becoming a free-lance writer. In 1992, Marie G. Lee published her first novel for young adults Finding My Voice, that drew on some of her own experiences growing up in Minnesota. Lee is also the founder of the Asian American Writer's Workshop.
