Biographical / Historical

Author and illustrator Linda Shute is the creator of over a dozen picture books for children. She was born in Miami, Florida, studied painting at the Eliot McMurrough School of Art, and earned a degree in art and art history from Florida State University. In addition to her illustration work, she has taught at Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota, Florida. Shute currently lives in Florida.
