Biographical / Historical

Eric von Schmidt was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut in 1931. He worked as a graphic artist since that time and was engaged in numerous professions and hobbies, including as a songwriter and musician. He illustrated over fifty children's books and over one hundred record and book jackets. Eric von Schmidt died in 2007.
