Biographical / Historical

Murray Tinkelman was born in Brooklyn, New York in 1933 and attended the Brooklyn Museum Art School and Cooper Union in New York. He taught at the Parsons School of Design, Syracuse University, and Hartford Art School, and illustrated a number of children's books. He is best known for his cover art for fantasy and science fiction works. He died in 2016.
