The collection contains illustrative material for two children's books illustrated by sorel, and includes ink illustrations, some with separations and proof text, and dummies, one with watercolors, one with chalk sketches.

Biographical / Historical
Edward Sorel (born Schwartz) was born March 26, 1929, in The Bronx, NY. As an artist he has received numerous awards and honors. He is a political cartoonist and children's book illustrator, and has published a number of self-illustrated children's books.
