Biographical / Historical

Mozelle Thompson was an African American artist and illustrator from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He was born in 1926 and educated at Parsons School of Design, the Art Students League, and New York University. He primarily worked as a commercial artist, illustrating book jackets, album covers, magazines, and posters. Thompson died in 1969.
