Biographical / Historical

Poet, writer, and editor Naomi Shihab Nye was born in 1952 in Missouri to a Palestinian father and American mother, and earned a degree from Trinity University. She is well known for her poetry, and has also written works for children, and edited poetry anthologies. She lives in San Antonio, Texas.
