Biographical / Historical

Harvé Stein was born in 1904 in Chicago, Ill. An artist and illustrator, he studied at the Art Institute of Chicago and the Academie Julian in Paris. In addition to illustrating children's books, he taught at several colleges and also worked as an art restorer.
