The collection contains illustrative material for six children's books illustrated by Marie Simchow Stern (some under the name Masha), and includes blueprints, ink and wash illustrations, crayon, ink and pencil studies, ink studies, pencil studies, dummies, one with typescript, illustration proofs, a tempera illustration, and drawings in watercolor and ink, and pencil and ink.
