Biographical / Historical
Elisa Carbone was born January 2, 1954 in Washington, D.C. She received a B.A. from the University of Maryland in 1985, an M.A. in speech communication in 1988, and an M.A. in education in 2001. She writes both contemporary and historical fiction for young adults. Her first book My Dad's Definitely Not a Drunkwas published in 1992.
