Biographical Sketch
Ariane Dewey was born in Chicago, Illinois. She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Sarah Lawrence College and studied art with Antonio Frasconi. She has illustrated dozens of children’s books, providing colors to pair with co-artist Jose Aruego’s black line drawings on titles such as Leo the Late Bloomerand Antarctic Antics. She also published a number of books as a solo author and illustrator. She lives in New York City.
