Biographical / Historical

Jennifer Holm was born in California, before moving to Audubon, Pennsylvania, where she spent most of her childhood, along with her four brothers. She attended Dickinson College in Carlisle, PA. Jennifer received Newbery Honors for Our Only May Amelia, Penny From Heaven, and Turtle in Paradise. In addition, she co-created the graphic novel series Babymouse and Squish with her brother Matthew, an artist and graphic designer. She currently lives in California.
