Biographical / Historical

Jennifer Jacobson grew up in Peterborough, New Hampshire and graduated from Lesley College, where she first took a course in children's literature. She received her master's in education from Harvard Graduate School of Education, teaching preschool through sixth grade as well as serving as Curriculum Coordinator, Head of Studies or Language Arts Specialist in schools around New England. Her first published book, a children's picture book titled A Net of Stars, was published in 1998. She has published fourteen children's books and currently resides in Maine where she continues to write and teach seminars on writing.
