Biographical / Historical
Born in Dearborn, Michigan, Toni Buzzeo was an avid reader from a young age. While attending college at the University of Michigan, Dearborn, where she graduated in 1976 with a BA in English Language and Literature.. Later she would go on to receive an MA in English Language and Literature and a Masters in Library and Information Science from the University of Rhode Island, Kingston. She had a career as a school librarian for sixteen years, and began writing for children in 1995. Her first book, The Sea Chest, was published in 2002. She splits her time living in Maine and Florida.
