Scope and Contents
The collection contains items related to works created by Jennifer and Matthew Holm. The bulk of the collection consists of production materials and artwork for their two graphic novel series Babymouseand Squish. Materials include sketches, layout designs, typescripts, dummies, page proofs, and some correspondence. The collection also includes some titles Matthew Holm created solo or with other collaborators, including Jonathan Follett.

Biographical / Historical
Jennifer L. Holm was born in 1968 in California, but spent most of her childhood in Pennsylvania, where her brother Matthew was born in 1974. The sibling team began collaborating in the early 2000s, when they created the graphic novel series Babymouse, which they followed up with the Squishseries. Outside of their work together, Jennifer is also an independent children's author, having received three Newbery Honors for her works Our Only May Amelia, Penny From Heaven, and Turtle in Paradise. She resides in California. Matthew works as a writer, illustrator, and graphic designer, and has also coauthored works with Joanthan Follett. He previously lived in Oregon, and now resides in New York State.
