Biographical / Historical

Margery Cuyler grew up in Prinecton, New Jersey in an old historic house that was used as army barracks during the Revolutionary War. In 1970 she graduated from Sarah Lawrence College. She has written over thirty children's books, from picture books to non-fiction texts. Cuyler has also worked as a children's book editor as well as holding executive position at Golden Books Family Entertainment, Holiday House, Henry Holt and Company, Marshall Cavendish, and Amazon.com. In 2011 she judged contestants on NBC's Celebrity Apprentice television show. She currently resides in Lawrenceville, New Jersey with her husband, with whom she has three children.
