Biographical / Historical
Florence Page Jaques was a poet and nature writer born in 1890. Her best known work is the children's book There Once was a Puffin, which was illustrated by her husband, artist Francis Lee Jaques, who collaborated with her on numerous works. Florence Jaques died in 1970.
