Biographical / Historical

L. W. Kingsland was an English translator of Scandinavian literature, including works from Danish, Swedish, and Norwegian. He was born in 1912 in London, studied at University College, London, and served in the Royal Air Force. He worked as a teacher and headmaster in addition to his career as a translator.
