Biographical / Historical
Vera Kelsey was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, in 1891 and raised in North Dakota. She graduated from the University of Washington in 1914, attended the University of Washington, and earned an MA in sociology from Brown University. She was an author and journalist, writing in a variety of genres. Kelsey died in 1961 in Saint Paul, Minnesota.
